Who am I? I have the heart of an explorer; an explorer of knowledge. For most of my life I have pursued my interests in science. My formative years were spent playing with pets and plants and rocks and star-gazing. I maintained these interests all the way through graduate school culminating with an advanced degree in Experimental Pathology, with a specialty in molecular biology. This was followed by productive career in medical research. Several years ago my interests took a dramatic turn away from the laboratory bench and into the arts. I have been writing plays and acting ever since. My enthusiasm for science remains undiminished and I am now exploring ways to use art as a means to communicate and inspire these passions in others. Although there is considerable overlap, my career paths can be roughly divided in two: Science and Art. To check out my interests and accomplishments in each of these fields, click on the tabs above.
